14 February 2012 (Sydney, AUS) Givex, a global technology company which powers loyalty and gift card programs across 50 countries worldwide, and Transacta, a provider of specialist point of sale, back office and head office retail systems in Australia, New Zealand and the Asia Pacific, announced today the integration of Givex’s SKU (Stock Keeping Unit) Loyalty system with Vision BeanStore Point of Sale software.

Users of Vision BeanStore PoS now have access to the Givex system for rewarding customers with points, discounts or even free products depending on what’s in their shopping basket.

Retailers use our solutions to build deeper relationships with their customers and create positive customer experiences, says Graham Jones, General Manager, Transacta. This integration with Givex offers users many more tools and options to engage customer interest and reward them for their continued loyalty.

The successful loyalty programs of today have changed significantly from those of the past, which rewarded customers blindly with points based on the total spend,” says Larry Samuels, Managing Director, Givex ASEA. Businesses are now looking to better understand their customer base and tailor incentives, rewards and communications based on their pre-defined customer segments. SKU-based loyalty programs uniquely enable a business to identify the preferences of different customers and also reward them with products/services they like, or even introduce them to new ones. We’re very pleased that Transacta’s clients are now able to take advantage of this technolog.

Givex provides a broad range of solutions for businesses to manage every stage of the customer journey: acquire new customers, learn about customers by building a customer database, communicate with customers and reward loyal customers.
