Transacta is a software vendor specialising in the development and sales of software and services to mid-sized retailers in the Australian, New Zealand and Asia Pacific markets.
Transacta, established in 1999, is a wholly owned subsidiary of Object Consulting. Object Consulting, established in 1988 and employing over 300 staff, is Australia's leader in delivering enterprise business solutions through the innovative use of component technologies such as Java EE, Microsoft. NET and Open Source.
